Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Byron). They blew past the Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans, posting a 71-30 victory. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on seven straight.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-2. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Byron will head out to face off against East Dubuque at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on DePue at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
