Baseball Recap: Clearfield Falcons vs. Northridge Knights
Clearfield was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Northridge Knights by a score of 8-3. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Knights on Monday, they had to take a 6-2 loss.

Clearfield got a great performance from Brody Unck as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Unck is becoming a predictor of the Falcons' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 3-1 (and 10-11 when he doesn't).
On the hitting side, Colt Chambers was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Ryan Frei was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Clearfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northridge only posted a batting average of .269.
Clearfield now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Northridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.
