Soccer Recap: West Port Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Port can now relate to. They came up short against the Seminole Seminoles on Tuesday, falling 5-2. If the Wolf Pack were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Luke Goebel and Angel Arias scored both of West Port's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

West Port's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-3. As for Seminole, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-4.

West Port does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seminole, they will face off against DeLand at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. DeLand will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Seminole surely won't give up without a fight.
