Volleyball Recap: Carlsbad Wins Going Away Against St. Augustine

On Thursday, the Carlsbad Lancers got the win against the St. Augustine Saints by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-21.

Ben Sauerwine was the offensive standout of the matchup as he hit 100% for seven kills and three digs and two aces. Those seven kills gave him a new career-high.

Carlsbad's win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Carlsbad didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against San Marcos on the 4th. As for St. Augustine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against El Cajon Valley on the 4th.
