Soccer Recap: DeForest Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, DeForest was not quite Sun Prairie East's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that DeForest have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for DeForest and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Sun Prairie East, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, DeForest will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Monona Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sun Prairie East, they will head out on the road to challenge Mukwonago at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
