Softball Recap: Hathaway Comes Up Short

After soaring to 24 runs the game before, Hathaway was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against the Elizabeth Bulldogs, falling 15-1. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Hathaway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Elizabeth, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Hathaway will head out on the road to challenge Basile at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elizabeth, they will welcome Lake Charles College Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
