Volleyball Recap: Mauldin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Greenwood on Wednesday, Mauldin came back down to earth. The Mavericks fell just short of the Eastside Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Mavericks haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Mauldin's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Eastside, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Mauldin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Legion Collegiate Academy on the 4th. As for Eastside, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Woodmont on the 4th.
