Soccer Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hart Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Whitehall of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Whitehall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Hart, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whitehall is set to face off against their familiar foe North Muskegon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hart will challenge rival Ravenna at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
