Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Middlesex Regional). They greeted the New Year with with a 61-45 win over the Marlborough Panthers. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 73-69 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for North Middlesex Regional and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Marlborough, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

North Middlesex Regional will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Groton-Dunstable at 7:00 p.m. As for Marlborough, they will face off against Westborough at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
