Baseball Recap: Mammoth Takes a Loss

Mammoth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Kern Valley Broncs, falling 12-0. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 13-4 to the Broncs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mammoth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kern Valley, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Coming up, Mammoth will venture away from home to square off against Lone Pine at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Lone Pine has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.75 runs per game on average), something Mammoth will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Kern Valley, they will be playing at home against Boron at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
