Basketball Recap: Lake View Beats Plainfield Central for Their Fifth Straight Win

Lake View entered their tilt with Plainfield Central on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They strolled past the Plainfield Central Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 54-39.

Lake View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniel Loza, who went 7 of 12 en route to 19 points. Loza's morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dyami Rolon, who posted eight points along with seven assists and six boards.

Lake View now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Plainfield Central, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake View will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Von Steuben at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
