Volleyball Recap: South Pontotoc Takes a Loss

South Pontotoc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Corinth Warriors. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-19.

South Pontotoc's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18-2. As for Corinth, the victory snapped their losing streak at ten matches and leaves them with a 3-20 record.

South Pontotoc didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against North Pontotoc on the 30th. As for Corinth, they will challenge Ripley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
