Basketball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

Phoenix was the 38-36 winner over North Valley when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 46-39 to the Knights on Friday.

Phoenix's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for North Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Phoenix wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-39 loss against Cascade Christian on the 20th. As for North Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 46-23 defeat against Sisters on the 20th.
