Volleyball Recap: Hagerstown Snags 11th Win in Last 12 Games

Hagerstown won the last time they faced Centerville and Hallie Pruitt did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday with plenty of help from Pruitt, who had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

One reason for the win was Hagerstown's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20, 25-12.

Hagerstown is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Centerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Hagerstown will square off against Shenandoah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
