Soccer Recap: Rochester Takes a Loss

Rochester and Maconaquah pushed the score to 8-1 the last time they played Maconaquah, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Zebras fell 2-0 to the Braves. That's two games in a row now that Rochester have lost by exactly two goals.

Rochester's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Maconaquah, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Rochester wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Manchester on the 22nd. As for Maconaquah, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-1 win against Taylor on the 22nd.
