Recap: Kennedale vs. Benbrook
Kennedale won the last time they met up with Benbrook, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything went Kennedale's way against Benbrook on Friday as they made off with a 49-21 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.
Benbrook's defeat came about despite a quality game from Dralon Williams, who rushed for 90 yards and one TD on 18 carries. William Green was in the mix, too, providing the Bobcats with two touchdowns.
The win was the sixth in a row for the Wildcats and raised their record to 7-3. Benbrook's loss pushes them down to 4-5.
The Wildcats do not have any more games currently scheduled. As for the Bobcats, they will face off against Castleberry at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.
