Basketball Recap: Palmer Takes a Loss

Palmer lost against Ingomar back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Palmer Dragons took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ingomar Falcons.

Leading Ingomar to victory were Brayden Tillery and Jack Denton. Tillery went 5 for 6 en route to 13 points along with eight assists and eight boards, while Denton dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Denton a new career-high in steals (five). Another player making a difference was Olen Faulkner, who posted nine points.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Ingomar, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Palmer has already played their next contest, an 89-67 win against Bruce on the 17th. As for Ingomar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-61 victory against Calhoun City on the 17th.
