Softball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Willis Wildkats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildkats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Willis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cleveland is set to square off against their familiar foe Caney Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Willis will face off against rival College Park at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
