Basketball Recap: Covert Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 37-9, which was the final score in the Covert Bulldogs's tilt against the Phoenix Falcons on Tuesday.

Covert's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Phoenix, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Covert will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Our Lady of the Lake Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Phoenix, they will square off against Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
