Preview: Menominee Indian vs. Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran

Menominee Indian (1-6) and Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran (4-3) are set to face off this Saturday at 1:00 PM. Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran will be looking to take advantage of a struggling Menominee Indian defense that has allowed an average of 46 points per game.

Menominee Indian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last week as it fell 52 - 46 to Oneida Nation. No one was more disappointed by the loss than senior Meshaen Waukau, who put up a significant resistance with four TDs. Waukau has been a consistent playmaker for Menominee Indian as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.

As for Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran, it has to be hurting after a devastating 34 - 6 defeat at the hands of Newman last game. Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran unfortunately couldn't repeat the imposing 36-point effort it came up with in its previous game.

The last time they met, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran was the decided 50 - 12 victor. Menominee Indian couldn't get the same offensive movement going as Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran (348 yards compared to 154 yards), so it will surely be hoping to change that this time around. Will Menominee Indian avenge its loss? We'll find out soon enough.
