Soccer Recap: Aspen Starts off Right with Win over Caprock Academy

Aspen gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Caprock Academy Eagles a 7-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Nicolas Marconi as he scored four goals for his team.

Caprock Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Aspen and Caprock Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Skiers are set to face off against their familiar foe Steamboat Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Caprock Academy will square off against rival Colorado Rocky Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
