East Troy and Whitewater are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Trojans will challenge the Whippets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Badger hit East Troy with a four-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Badgers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Whitewater suffered their closest loss since March 26th on Friday. They fell just short of Clinton by a score of 3-1.

Whitewater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Kollwelter, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Kollwelter has snagged this season.

Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for East Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

East Troy couldn't quite get it done against Whitewater in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 6-3. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
