Basketball Recap: San Luis Obispo Skates Past Coastal Christian with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph, San Luis Obispo was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Coastal Christian Conquerors 71-37. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Conquerors are ranked 1050th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

San Luis Obispo's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Coastal Christian, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-12.

San Luis Obispo won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Arroyo Grande at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coastal Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Maricopa at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
