The biggest upset of the week belonged to Woodlands, who took down 90th ranked Dobbs Ferry, 38-21.
The Falcons moved up to 106 from 186 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 1 C/D. Woodlands was able to move up by topping the Eagles 38-21.
Albertus Magnus's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground COREY JEAN-CHARLES contributed 123 yards. GISCARD BEAUVIL helped Albertus Magnus' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 69 yards.
The Falcons' dynamic duo of LUKE KERN and JOE DENISE proved tough for Palisade Prep to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. BEAUVIL helped Albertus Magnus' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 69 yards.
JEAN-CHARLES provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Albertus Magnus topped the Phoenix.
5-foot-10 quarterback George Figueroa of Yonkers Montessori Academy is the league leader in passing yards this season with 444. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is BEAUVIL. The Albertus Magnus star has 11 catches for 249 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Rye Neck takes on second place Woodlands.
Paul Villanueva's team was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from ninth to fifth in the league. The Falcons beat Palisade Prep 50-14 earlier in the week.
