Weeki Wachee had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 72-71 win over the Citrus Hurricanes. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Hurricanes back in December of 2024, they had to take a 90-75 defeat.

Conner Boyle was nothing short of spectacular: he posted 23 points and seven boards. Those 23 points gave him a new career-high. Logan Beams was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points.
