Volleyball Recap: Dale County Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Dale County kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Northside Methodist Academy Knights. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.

Dale County's loss came despite strong showings from Leah Grace Snellgrove and Jaslyn Smith. Snellgrove had six digs, six aces, and three blocks, while Smith had ten blocks and six kills.

Looking ahead, Dale County will welcome Ariton at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they will take on Glenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
