Football Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Lynn Camp Wildcats, falling 34-6. The Green Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Harlan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lynn Camp, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlan will welcome Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynn Camp, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pineville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Mountain Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
