Bluestem has gone 8-2 against Eureka recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Lions will challenge the Tornadoes. Eureka took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bluestem, who comes in off a win.

Bluestem is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over Fredonia on Thursday. The Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 28, 2025 (when they won 10-0).

Meanwhile, Eureka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to Neodesha.

Eureka's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bluestem, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-10.

Everything went Bluestem's way against Eureka in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Bluestem made off with an 18-1 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
