Basketball Recap: Grissom Takes a Loss

Grissom was the 55-46 winner over Albertville when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Grissom Tigers lost 59-37 to the Albertville Aggies on Friday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Grissom has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Albertville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grissom and Buckhorn will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Albertville, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pell City at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
