Basketball Recap: Clayton Valley Charter Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

Clayton Valley Charter's tournament run continued when they took on Cardinal Newman on Friday. The Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles walked away with a 52-43 victory over the Cardinal Newman Cardinals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ugly Eagles.

Leading Clayton Valley Charter to victory were Zion Grissom and Cannon Simpson. Grissom went 7 of 11 on his way to 18 points and five boards, while Simpson posted 11 points. That's the most points Simpson has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jett Tran, who put up eight points.
