 The Leyden Eagles are on the road again  on Friday to play the Lincoln Park Lions at 7:00  p.m. One thing working in Leyden's favor is that they have posted big  goal totals  in their last three games.
 Leyden is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout  on Friday, just like they did against Proviso East (and have done all season long). Leyden blew past Proviso East 4-0. Given Leyden's advantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings  (they are ranked 104th, while Proviso East is ranked 373rd), the result  on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Leyden hit Proviso East with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Tereza Cerna, 
 Jamie Aguila, 
 Ximena Magana,  and 
 Jasmine Ambrocio.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to nine  goals the game before, Lincoln Park was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Wednesday. They fell victim to a  rough 9-0 defeat at the hands of Lane Tech.
 Leyden is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record  this season. As for Lincoln Park, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
 Leyden took their  victory against Lincoln Park  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  5-1. In that  contest, Leyden amassed a halftime lead of  3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
