The Chamberlain Storm scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Freedom by a score of 39-26. The win was a breath of fresh air for Chamberlain as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Chamberlain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from K'mari Johnson, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Dejesus, who scored 11 points.
Chamberlain's victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10. As for Freedom, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-12.
Chamberlain will take on Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 25. As for Freedom, they will head out on the road to face off against Brandon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brandon is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
