Baseball Game Preview: Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Ravens vs. Lansingburgh Knights

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Ravens are taking a road trip to challenge the Lansingburgh Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Another player making a difference was Conor Reinish, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lansingburgh also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Albany Academy for Boys by a score of 10-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Cadets: they've now lost eight in a row.

Braedan Kepner was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Ethan Wood was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk's record now sits at 6-5. As for Lansingburgh, their record is now 7-6.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk took their victory against Lansingburgh in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
