Softball Recap: Millsap Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dublin last Friday, Millsap came back down to earth. The Millsap Bulldogs came up short against the Tolar Rattlers on Tuesday, falling 17-4. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Rattlers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Kaleigh Wooldridge was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Millsap's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Tolar, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millsap and Peaster will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tolar, they will face off against Eastland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tolar is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
