Football Game Preview: Dexter Dreadnaughts vs. St. Mary's Prep Eaglets + How To Watch

The Dexter Dreadnaughts will face off against the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dexter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully St. Mary's Prep likes a good challenge.

Dexter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 41-6 victory over Groves. Given the Dreadnaughts' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Falcons are ranked 71st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's Prep won against Dow last Friday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Eaglets beat Portage Central by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 42-7. Winning may never get old, but the Eaglets sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Dexter better keep an eye on Jabin Gonzales. He was instrumental in St. Mary's Prep's win, throwing for 204 yards and four TDs. Those four passing touchdowns gave Gonzales a new career-high.

Dexter's record now sits at 12-1. As for St. Mary's Prep, their record is now 10-2.
