Recap: Beaufort Eagles vs. Dillon Wildcats

On Tuesday, Beaufort took a serious blow against Dillon, falling 73-40.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaemin Odom, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Odom has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brandon Blackmon, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.

Leading Dillon to victory were Ta'norre Monroe and Zamaurious Robertson. Monroe scored 19 points, while Robertson went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 0 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Niyonkuru Patrick, who scored seven points.

Beaufort now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Dillon, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

Beaufort does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dillon, they will head out on the road to challenge Crestwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Crestwood is coming into the contest with eight straight wins at home, so Dillon is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
