Greenville hasn't had much luck against Andalusia recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Greenville Tigers will square off against the Andalusia Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Greenville has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

It was a proper cat-fight when Greenville faced off against Florala on Thursday. Greenville fell just short of Florala by a score of 17-15.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Andalusia). Their pitcher stepped up to hand Highland Home a 21-0 shutout on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

Kailey Jackson made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Austin Seal was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Those hits marked the first that she got this season. Maddie Everett was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

Andalusia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .897. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Andalusia, they moved to 4-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
