Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Has No Trouble Against South Gallia

Notre Dame had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt South Gallia on Tuesday. The Titans were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Rebels. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for South Gallia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Notre Dame and South Gallia will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Titans are set to square off against their familiar foe Clay at 5:00 p.m. on the 9th. Meanwhile, South Gallia will face off against rival Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
