Basketball Recap: Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Takes a Loss

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic lost against Watervliet back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers and the Watervliet Panthers didn't end well, with the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers falling 43-25.

Watervliet found their leader in sophomore Daijahnae Hatcher, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 boards. Hatcher has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Moeko Crago was another key player, putting up five points and four steals.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Watervliet, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-12.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic has already played their next game (against Andrews Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Watervliet, they have already played their next contest, a 48-24 defeat against Fennville on the 21st.
