Football Recap: Camden Fairview Comes Up Short on the Road Against Arkadelphia

Camden Fairview had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Arkadelphia Badgers by a score of 17-14 on Friday. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Badgers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Camden Fairview lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dayton Browning, who rushed for 133 yards on only eight carries, and also picked up 43 receiving yards. Brodie Dow was in the mix as well, providing Camden Fairview with two scores.

Camden Fairview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Christopher Bolden and Jeremiah Radford.

Looking ahead, Camden Fairview will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arkadelphia, they will venture away from home to challenge Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
