Cassville waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Diamond Wildcats by a score of 41-31. While Cassville didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Cassville's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Diamond, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Cassville will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Aurora at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Aurora will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Cassville surely won't give up without a fight.
