Softball Recap: Meigs County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Meigs County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Coalfield Yellow Jackets with a sharp 13-6 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 back in March.

Meigs County's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Coalfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Meigs County will head out to face off against Bradley Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coalfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunbright at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
