Watertown barely beat Monona Grove the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Goslings blew past the Silver Eagles 7-1 on Monday. The Goslings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Allison Howlett made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. She also put up a run, which was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Cassidy Peplinski was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Makenah Novotny was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
