Basketball Game Preview: Rejoice Christian Eagles vs. Sequoyah Eagles

The Rejoice Christian Eagles will head out to square off against the Sequoyah Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Rejoice Christian came up short against Metro Christian and fell 48-35. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Sequoyah hadn't done well against Inola recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Sequoyah walked away with a 52-42 victory over Inola. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Rejoice Christian now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Sequoyah, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Rejoice Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Sequoyah in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 50-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rejoice Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
