Baseball Recap: Chartiers Valley Takes a Loss

Chartiers Valley lost to Upper St. Clair back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Colts took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chartiers Valley got a good showing from Brady Shaming, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Shaming a new career-low in walks (zero).

At the plate, Chartiers Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Schultz, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Chartiers Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Upper St. Clair, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

While Chartiers Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
