Baseball Recap: Diamond Hill-Jarvis Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Diamond Hill-Jarvis and Castleberry squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Diamond Hill-Jarvis had to settle for second. They lost 12-5 to the Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since March 11th.

DOMINIC DAVIS made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis now has a losing record of 12-13-1. As for Castleberry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-8-1.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Castleberry, they will face off against Graham on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.4, the Steers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
