Volleyball Recap: Yorba Linda Takes a Loss

Yorba Linda was the 3-1 winner over Foothill when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Knights on Tuesday.

Yorba Linda was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.

Yorba Linda has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Foothill, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

After both having extra time off, Yorba Linda and Cypress will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Foothill, they will head out to square off against Aliso Niguel at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
