Broughton has gone 8-2 against Sanderson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Capitals will welcome the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Broughton will be strutting in after a win while Sanderson will be coming in after a defeat.

Broughton will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Wednesday, then bounced right back against Panther Creek last Thursday. The Capitals walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Catamounts. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Broughton's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Panther Creek with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sophie Gance, Presley Walk, Elena Berra, and Claire Williams.

Meanwhile, Sanderson's game last Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Athens Drive by a score of 3-2. Sanderson have struggled against Athens Drive recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

The win got Broughton back to even at 4-4-3. As for Sanderson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Everything went Broughton's way against Sanderson when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Broughton made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Capitals repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
