Soccer Game Preview: Papillion-LaVista vs. Millard West

Papillion-LaVista hasn't had much luck against Millard West recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Monarchs will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Papillion-LaVista's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Lincoln North Star. The high-scoring effort was just what Papillion-LaVista needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Their offense was hitting Lincoln North Star from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Millard West made easy work of Grand Island on Monday and carried off a 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Millard West.

Millard West's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Papillion-LaVista, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-4.
