Basketball Recap: Chelan Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Chelan couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 59-48 to the Meridian Trojans on Saturday.

Chelan's defeat dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Meridian, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-10.

Coming up, Chelan will face off against Tenino at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chelan will be up against Tenino's rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.21 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
